Have a good condition aluminum skid plate for '73-'77 frames with the side "wings" for protection. Been sitting unused on the shelf too long and planning on making some hacksaw mods to make it work on my son's modern Yamaha (gasp!) unless it's the perfect part for someone's x-country Penton?
$30.00?

I'm interested...my 76 MC-5 has no skid plate provisions...can you e-mail me a photo of your shiny object?
Thanks

Looks very good installed. Appears that a couple of over-welds were done and a couple of blob-beads added at wear points where it contacts frame, maybe to cushion where it was starting to wear? What look like indents are actually blobs not ground flat. Those are mount bolts sticking through, no clamps with it. Let me know what you think, really prefer not to cut on it but it's not far from right size for junior's bike.
