Neat and I love that down pipe.
Ron Carbaugh
Ron,
I rode one of Thom's bikes in January with that pipe on it, it works as well as it looks.

Hi Thom,Great looking bike.I love that downpipe look as well...If it's not Super Secret-what mods did you make to the engine/carb for the "bat out of hades" effect? After almost 2 months of physical therapy/training i've only lost 10 lbs. so i need all the hp i can get[:p]...Thanks for the pics-nice bike,

The motor was out of a Monark Gs Pro bike I think. It has the stuffed cases,Monark porting w/28mm Bing and Goki shift kit.The head and cylinder are drilled for the lead seal used in the ISDT bikes. Thom

Now THAT is an interesting motor. Do you know the story behind the Zokes that are mounted? I have a pair of 13.5 Zokes that I'm looking at mounting on my Six Day. I already know I need to switch my springs out to the "softer" black spring (I have purples).
POGGERs - are NOS Goki shift kits still available out there? I'll hit the search button, but just curious.
Those shocks were on a bike I found at our local motorcycle salvage yard. They were on a 1974 125 that the owner thought was a Kawasaki because it was green.Needless to say I bought the whole bike for $200.They seem to work ok but I like my Olins better.Made a mistake on the shift kit it is a Koba,Goki made aircaps. There aren't many of these motors around.John told me to watch the rod bearings because of the stuffed cases the get oil starved.I am going to run that oil Brian was talking about. Thanks Ron,Rick and Brian.Ron see you next year at DD's,my wife has been fighting cancer for 2 years now, down to chemo once a month. The power of prayer is amazing.

Super KOOL bike, have any more down pipes? thanks LG
We decided not to make anymore,no demand and alot of problems hand rolling the cone sections with the shop tools at hand.Very time consuming.

As I recall back in the day, a Suzuki 90 downpipe was the trick set up at Corona raceway for flat tracking. I had one for one race at the Riverside Grand Prix and promptly flatened it like a pancake, tore it off and seized the motor. No More down pipes.
