Not really an award and it will be no real surprise that he is a good guy but I wanted to publicly thank him anyway.
Chicago Jerry went above and beyond the call of duty helping load and line out an injured friend of mine; John Gott, at Portland. He even loaned John's wife Sherry his truck so she could go to the hospital. John fell in practice and broke some ribs and Sherry did not want to drive the motorhome to Lansing to get John from the hospital. Jerry and his friend loaded most all of John's trailer and lined his gear out so that when he arrived we could get John headed home. I might mention also that John and Jerry are going head to head in the same class competeing for and AHRMA Championship besides. A true sportsman.
So a BIG thanks to Chicago Jerry who is a great guy and good man. I am proud to know you and we all should be elated he is amongst this fantastic Penton Owner's Group.

I agree with the Good Guy Award as Jerry has demonstrated the tireless energy for helping others and spending endless hours setting up and officiating Races. Thanks to Jerry and especialy thank to your Bride for always helping. And if you notice Jerry is always helping others get a Vintage Ride ready for other riders.
Thanks Big Guy.

Ahhhhh. Thanks everybody. I already knew that Chicago Jerry is a wonderful man. He truly loves the sport and would go out of his way to help anyone be able to race (or get home from the race)! But it is so nice to hear that others appreciate his tireless efforts. Hope John is feeling alright! Mrs. Chicago Jerry
