Niceeeee!!!

Love the porting job, hot rod.  :)

Also like the use of the CMF-style heat guard on the pipe.  Think you've convinced me to buck up for one for my Six Day vs. the 74 and later side cover.

Of course, I had to scroll thru the rest of your photos....nice Rickman-Zundapp.  And then there's that KTM-badged Penton (we know - West Coast bike....) with the Marty Smith look-alike guy.  But what's the story on this trick-looking Katoom?  Is this 1975-ish? Non-KTM front wheel (Bultaco?), machined "porcupine" head, back shocks moved forward in a pattern much like the Maicos went in late 74 and 75.  Did this hold off the Elsinore/YZ bow wave for one more year? [B)]

Thanks for the photos...

What did you put on the crankwheels?
Nice-looking internals.

LG.

Is that Barbie[:0]...No. 5 on the new Penton?

Didn't know you two went that far back!  Neat selection of bikes.

Bob,

I have a used heat guard if you want it.  Not sure if I have the clamps, but I will look if your are interested.

Thanks for all the good words!   LEW, the crank is stuffed with balsa-wood (?) and epoxy.  MARK, yes I have your parts will ship ASAP.   VICTOR you have the pit girls so I want Barbies phone number. TOOCLOSE , the 1973 red frame penton was sold back to the guy I got it from, he would not sell me the Super motor which was bulit by  Chuck Daily ( maybe so the story goes) . I did get to see the barrel and it looked a  ktm ported  barrel ( like a worm was living in it ). I got the bike in parts. Yes to the bultaco front hub DID rims on mag hubs konis on the rear I think. It also had a 54 tooth sprocket don't know what it had on the counter. A KX seat of some sort. I will be building a 100 to look like that bike without the frame mods . Thanks LG
