Title: 76-77 MC5 125 production numbers
Post by: Doug Bridges on September 14, 2009, 09:03:55 AM
I recently traded away my MC5 125 to my friend "Britt Boyette". He has done some further restoration on the bike. It is looking very good and he is now gathering information on these bikes to include in an article in VMX magazine featureing this bike.
He is trying to find out how many of these were made in 76/77 and how many were labled KTM and how many were labled Penton. He is also looking for any info on how many might still be around.
I doubt if there is any such info available, but I told him I would post these questions just in case anyone does have any info about this.
Thanks!

I think guys have information on these bikes, but they don't want to depress you with it... the 76 250 mc5 was the bike to have that year. I bet all the 77 125 were KTM's though

If my memory serves me right there were less than 200 brought in in 77.  This has been discussed before so you might search it.
