Hello fellow POGers,
I am in need of a complete wheel set for a 1973 Penton 125. Black hubs and DID-style rims would be best, but would consider most any at this point. I need to get this bike finished up!
Thanks,
Clay
Clay.
I have a variety of wheel sets and think I can help out. I will need the morning daylight to take pictures for you to choose from.
They won't be "show pieces", but solid units.
If you're interested e-mail me with your address and I can get a quote together tomorrow morning, delivered to your address.
[email protected] Victor
If you need anything else I am cleaning out my 72 and 73 Sachs framed bike parts.
Hi Vic,
I'll give you an e-mail off site.
Thanks,
Clay
Victor,
I replied to you via email offsite. Also need front and rear rims for 1973 CMF as well as some additional items listed.
Thanks,
Dale Fisher
Dale,
I must mave missed your e-mail....going to have some minor surgery(hopefully) Friday and have been a bit pre-occupied. Please resend and I'll get you some pictures. Sorry.
Victor
Victor,
I'm really sorry that I haven't got back to you. I got hurt at the races and am nursing an injured foot/ankle, a huge setback, but will e-mail you when things turn around, which is really soon, hopefully.
Hope things go well for you and to a speedy recovery.
Clay
Go to a bone yard and find a full width hub jap bike with a D I D or the older excell and just lace them up with your penton spokes .[^]
LG.
Thanks for the "sales" help[V].
NO MORE SOUP FOR YOU ! [}:)]
Recall the free polished Sun rims [:0]
Send me my JP race pipe and I'll forgive you :D
Your buddy,
Poor "Old"" Victor
LG,
Are you back from California?
Victor said in an e-mail that you were down his way last week about this time, something about picking up a pooch.
I hobbled out to the shed the yesterday and found out that I have three rear wheels (and ZERO front wheels), so I'll have to take another look at Victor's photos.
Thanks again to both of you for the help...hope you are doing well Victor.
LG, please give me a call. I left you a message on your answering machine a couple of hours ago. Are you back home in So. Oregon?

Clay.
I will "root" out some extra front wheel set ups, once I get a chance to look around. What year bike again ?
Victor
Hi Clay-Hope you recover soon!Sounds like Victor has got you covered on a wheel. If he doesn't have one i might, but i'd have to do some digging and i'm not sure i can spare a late model wheel so by all means get it from Victor if he's got it.Hope to see your name in the results soon and i'll try and give you a call over the weekend.Take Care Buddy,

That's what I told my wife to get me for my birthday coming up.

Ric,
Good hearing from you again!
I think that either Victor or LG should have something for me but I appreciate the offer! How's everything going? Please do give me a call over the weekend. I've just hung around the couch with an icebag the past few weekends.
LG,
Thanks for the call today. I'll give you a call Thursday, unless I can call you at 6 AM:), like I do with Britt, but I doubt you'll be up much earlier than noon???
Did you pick up a copy of the latest VMX? I think Britt's bike will be in the upcoming issue; he knows for sure...maybe he will post that info (if he hasn't already)....after all, he's now living on the POG site!
Britt,
I'll call you early in the morning, pre-6:30 AM, unless I am running a little late to work, which is highly likely!
Clay
