For Sale - 1972 Penton 125 Six-Day MX
Sachs 1251/6B
Original besides, pipe heat shield, # plates, handlebars, and tires.
Dents in fenders and rear part of pipe, nice end cap.
Hubs, backing plates, and rear sprocket carrier good, forks good, swingarm good, levers good, tank and tank strap good, side stand mount very good. LH side panel good.
Has ignition, kick and shift levers.
Cracks in seat cover, no piston, nice cylinder on std. bore, no broken fins on top end, shifting mechanism needs repair, shocks no good for riding, flat spot in front rim, case damage from runaway chain.
Chain guard not good, also needs airboot, air filter, drive chain, tire tubes and cables.

YES, I would consider this a scam. if you have this bike on craigslist, you will be getting many of these offers. I have one on there now and receive them almost daily from all over the globe.

I always tell em to bring cash when they pick it up, don't normally hear from them after that...

Bob,
    I had the same thing happen to me about 5 years ago.  After some checking it appeared the purchaser was giving about 6 different addresses and none of them checked out.  IT IS A SCAM.  Hope I run into the guy someday.

Hey Guys,
This is what I've been doing..tell them to send the Cashiers Check and you will be happy to transfer funds & get the bike ready for there transport company to pick it up, but you need $100.00 CASH in USD to cover your expences of going to the bank to complete the transaction..No takers yet, but how SWEET would it be scam the scammers:D..and at worst they won't bother you again..Buddy

That's a sweet deal Bob and I'd be all over it if I didn't already have one. I can't understand why someone hasn't grabbed it.
