This is the bike that was on Ebay in Tallahassee,Fl.I have never taken so much silicone and duct tape off of a bike, serious waterproofing was preformed. The rod bearing was its demise other than that neat bike.John Durrill this may have been one of yours. Thom,
Looks like a neat bike. I actually sent this ebay listing to John since it was so close, but I think he is working long hours now. Great buy.

WOW ! I saw that Penton on Ebay, and it looked real rough, like someone dragged it out of the Ocean. You have done a great job of resurrecting it. What have you done to it so far, other than cleaning it up? You have a real eye for a gem in the rough. Great price on your purchase, too. joe
Started taking the motor apart but it will be a while before before it goes back together.Happy to see it was still on a 54.0mm bore, transmission seems fine, clutch is good, replacing the usual, wheel bearings etc...Going to put a 5a motor in it and try to get my nephew to ride with me in CC at Diamond Dons next year.I never remember to take before pictures, that might be a good thing!
