The 2010 CC schedule is posted on the AHRMA website. Looks to be 17 rounds (ISDT RR is two days of racing, but counts as one day for points) mostly in the middle to eastern half of the US. A couple of brand new venues (for AHRMA) have been added that should make for an exciting year of woods racing. I wish I had more vacation days to burn!!
Here's the complete schedule:

Teddy,
Can you give us the low down on some of these new venues?

Slow but Good
I'll probably catch hell for this, but it is one more reason the Southwest AHRMA Coordinator needs replacement or a "tune up".....no Southern California or Northern California venues for CC riding. Let alone the mx venues are wanning, also.:(
AHRMA upper administration should look into this problem, I hear it from many riders that we need "Change We Can Believe In"....didn't the American citizens here something like that not too long ago?
I am sure grateful for CALVMX and ARX for keeping the vintage racing going !
Victor
Of course I should probably not complain, but get involved to make changes...[?]
Victor,
Teddy wanted CC races in the west, and had two on the schedule last year. The first one at Taft had 20 or so entries total Vintage and PV, the second one at 395/Racetown was canceled because the track changed its fees at the last minute and because there was only 1 pre-entry two weeks before the event. I used to ride and race a Sunrise/395 all the time when I lived out there and was really looking forward to that event.
I would love to fly out to SoCal and race a CC, but I just dont think there is enough support for them unfortunately.

Victor,
Truth is there is not good support of AHRMA out West. It is fast becoming a Mid-West organization with West being the weakest and East being second weakest. There is a lot of big attendance Vintage races happenning out West; as you know, but AHRMA has burned a decent amount of bridges there. All I can say is VOTE VOTE VOTE for new Board Members or it will dwindle more. Cross Country has done okay but even the biggest ones are not turnouts that will keep a National organization alive. It really is a Mid-West Regional Series now. Now please everyone don't kill the messenger.

I agree with Larry. In the SE there is technically an AHRMA region but in reality it only exists on paper. They have one or two races a year and they are lucky if they get 20 entries. From what I understand the NE is similar. Mid-Atlantic seems to be pretty active, but AHRMA is the strongest in the mid-west for sure.
