Title: Sachs 125 B rod kit needed
Post by: clayman on November 21, 2009, 01:18:18 PM
Fellow POGers,

I am in need of a rod kit for a Sachs 125 B motor. Does anybody have a spare you could sell?

Our friend JP, the vintage mx star from the Bay Area, is repairing my motor but the major Penton suppliers are out of the rod kit.

I want to ride the Classic 125 Expert class next year in AHRMA and want to get this bike together, soon!

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Clay

Hello,  Have you checked with WISECO?  They sell all sorts of reliable engine products.  joe

Larry,

I gave JP everything that I had and both are not good.

Any ideas? I guess I should have bought the one from you after all.

This is a real bummer. JP is the best at what he does but I suppose only The Good Lord can make this work.

Clay,
I checked with the Hammers in Germany. They are out of rod kits also.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

John,

Thanks so much for checking into the rod kit for me. I'm sure something will come up, eventually.

I hope you and your family had a Happy Thanksgiving!

Have you searched the links on the POG site?   One site advertized that they have both the A and B crank sets in stock.   They are available.  Just a matter of tracking it down.  Good luck and let us know when and where you obtain one.   joe

Do you know the part # you are looking for ?

I was going through some junk in my garage and I have a crank assy that was removed from an engine. the rod in it has part #
0617 103 099 F+S on it.

if this is what you are looking for you can have it for shipping cost and possible trades at a later date.

let me know
Ron
