I just purchased my first Penton. It is going to be a project, but I bet I will enjoy it. Having said that, does anyone have a really good picture or image of a 1975 250 Hare Scrambler that they can send me? I would be best if it was the MX version. My email is

Michael, You have obtained one of the finer Penton models; the 1975 Penton Hare Scrambler. I believe it might have the 35mm Cerianni front forks with 200mm of travel, and multi-position rear shock arrangement ((FMS (forward mounted shocks) or layed down position (about 45 degrees)). Are the front forks ribbed down the front? Have you taken "before" photos? If you look on the POG site, there are photos of many models of Pentons. Also, if you Google Penton, there will be links to sites and photos. Work patiently and have fun. joe

I bought three 250 Pentons two weeks ago. Two are parts bikes and one is complete. I bought a 1975,1976 and a 1978. The '76 is the complete bike so if you need some parts let me know before I sell the '75 and '78. Welcome to POG and I hope to see you at the Old School MX next year.
