Title: False posts on the forum? What's the deal?
Post by: OhioTed on January 23, 2010, 07:08:07 AM
I was very much enjoying reading the post headed "Ray Lopez", until I got to the 8th one down.  One too many crashes over the years have left me a bit rattled, but I do know for sure that I did not post that one.

I would like to know who DID write it.  Could be just a glitch in the system, but such an error could result in a very bad situation - I can't be responsible for content of posts I did not write!

Ted,

Are you sure that is not your post?  The original thread is from almost 6 years ago so it is old.  It just got brought up again with a new post by Jeff.

Larry has pointed out a critical oversight on my part - I did not look at the DATE of "my" post - it was from back in 2004.

I jumped the gun.  Sorry for the false alarm.  I mistakenly thought the post was brand new.  Possibly Admin can simply delete the post.  Thanks, Larry.

Hi Ted,  here is how I came across this "old" thread on Ray..... After reading Lloyd's post about the "old" Glen Helen I did a GOOGLE on Ray Lopez. It led me to that old thread. I just now realized it started back in '04! Fun stuff to remember.

Ha! Thanks Dave, that was very funny! BTW- You were correct that Jon Leak did win the '73 100 class in the Ohio State Championship. He went on to win the 125 class on a Penton in '74. Good to here from ya.
