Title: Kip's "April" bike
Post by: OhioTed on February 11, 2010, 07:55:48 AM
Hey, Kip - I was flipping through the 2010 POG calendar and dreaming of riding weather.  Stopped at the April picture to admire your bike.  Could you please provide some details about it?

For example, what year is it?  How close is it to oem spec?  Please comment on colors applied, suspension, fenders, etc.  Thanks.

Ted  I had 3 bikes I built featured in the calander.  If it's the Piner, it is a late "73" early "74" 175.  European MX tank came from Mike Lenz many years ago. NOS original fenders, 35mm ceriani forks with Girling copy shocks on the rear. Came with a shoulderless Akront on front with a shouldered on the rear.  Original controls, Barum tires front and rear.  One of a kind bike with that tank!  Signed by both Jack and John;)
