The Motocross of Nations is being held in Lakewood Colorado this September. Any of the Penton group thinking about attending?

Rod, this one is going to be a logistics issue, there is only one road that passes by Thunder Valley, so I hope they have shuttle services, that track is awesome....Tom Brosius

Been a couple of months just wanted to see if any more Penton peeps might attend. Tom any tips you got getting to and from the event would be appreciated. I thought of camping but it was more expensive than a motel.

For tickets, click on the link below:
http://www.mxthundervalley.com/rev/

If you need hotel/motel, you can Google motels Golden, Colorado or Lakewood Colorado..

Looks like Bandimere Speedway will have a large parking area with shuttles, the speedway is aprox. 5 miles from the track

Things to do if you can come earlier in the week:

Rocky Mtn. Nat park
Coors tour
Red Rocks scenic park, 2 miles away
Col. Springs Garden of the Gods, or a caving walking tour Manitoe Springs

And if you can trailor a trail bike, I would take, you to the Woodland Park riding area, for a delightfull fall riding experience with Pike's Peak in the background...elev. 8000 so brings some jets!!!

Adios, Tom...........

Tom, thanks for the tips. Really looking foward to this event. Last time I saw a big race live was the Superbowl of MX at the LA Coliseum in 77 and the last time in a field was a National race in Herman, NE in 1976.

The race is next Saturday and Sunday. If any of you see a tall bald headed guy in a Penton shirt stop and say , hi.
