Title: Prayers for Dave Sanders
Post by: G Ellis on March 20, 2010, 12:19:58 AM
Please pray for Dave and his wife Dianne. Dave went to the hospital today, after complaining for the last few days of chest pain. Dave went to a local hospital, will be moving to a hospital in Evansville Indiana in the morning. Dave is going to have quadruple bypass on Monday. Will try to post some more info tomorrow. Thanks Gary

Is Dave the one you went with to the dealer show at Indy? Either way, tell him we are pulling for him.

Man it sure seems they waited a long time to do the surgery. Maybe could have avoided the attack.  He will be in my prayers.

Thanks for all of the prayers for Dave. Out of ICU and into a room. He walked to the room on his own. Said that he felt that his surgery would cut 5 min off his lap time.:D Will get to come home on Saturday. Thanks Again Gary

Dave,
I went through open-heart surgery for a triple bypass on Jan 26th. Believe me....IT DOES GET BETTER. I'm in rehab now, three days a week, and hopefully will return to work in two weeks. My surgeon says I'll be able to get back on my bikes once I build my strength and stamina up. I would not have believed that at first but now I feel certain I'll be back in the not too distant future!
My point is that all that talk I heard before and shortly after my surgery wasn't just a bunch of hooey. I'm feeling better and stronger every day. If I can do it I know you can too. Hang in there and keep your chin up.
Good Luck, Keith
