Title: Help On My 1984 KTM 125 MX Needed
Post by: Tom Fox on March 30, 2010, 09:46:29 AM
Hi All:

Just recently purchased a 1984 KTM 125 MX project and was wanting to know what parts off of the 1984 250 MX are the same? Also does anyone have the Shop Manual 1984 KTM 125 MX I could get?

Thanks: [8D]

Spring rates are different and the frame may be a little different, but most of the chassis is the same. Radiators are the same, seat, forks, triple clamp, shock except for spring rates and valving is the same.

Gary:

Do you have the parts manual for the engine for the 1985 and 1986 engine?

Also what would be the shipping for the MC Frame to Missouri? And do you have a nice swingarm bolt?

Thanks:

Tom

Depending on where you are in Missouri it might be cheaper to drive to Gary's in Illinois rather than ship it. Plus you can buy lots more '84 KTM stuff from him you didnt even know you needed until you see it. :D

Thanks Brian will be calling Gary to see when I can come up there.

Wanted to know if anyone had a clutch holding tool for the 125? Or what did you use to create one? Started dissassebling the engine to check bearings and seals. Long way to go. Anyone have a good source for lower end gasket set?

Thanks

I take an old steel clutch plate and weld a handle onto it.
