Title: Tommorow is my "Fathers Day"
Post by: DKWRACER on June 19, 2010, 06:55:51 PM
Some of my posts, have musical verses, some have technical contributions, some have recipies for chile too.
Altho my father is now six feet under, he gave me something.......

Pride, feeling to own a Penton

The "campfire" is always lit, and I do feel, that there is more than that.

A gift from JP.

That was a great post.  I am going back east to see my dad in a week-he's part of that incredible WWII group of men like Mr. Penton that gave us so much. My dad quit high school to join the Marines and wound up in the Navy for WWII. I think about and thank him and his generation everyday!!

Mine started out for the Navy and ended up in the Marines and then in Korea. Tough guy, but a great one too.
