I wonder who bought the NOS Sachs motor on ebay for $2225.00. It looks like a 5A model. I know it must be very rare but WOW, that is a lot. Was it anyone from POG? I hope it is going in to a steel tanker restoration.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170520651502&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT

Hello, It is not just a NOS Sachs 5A engine. Small owner's manual AND Bing carb are included, too. Therefore, the price is justified... joe
I have a Sachs motor that looks that good and has been ridden for 30 years. NOS but ...??
If you look real close at the pictures the right side cover (Ignition side) was broken and he didn't have a NOS flywheel, but I agree it is worth it since it had the carburetor. One of the NOS engines I have (or had?) had a rubber plug in the spark plug hole. I enjoy seeing these items come up from the past.

I still have a 125cc NOS HIRO Engine for sale - 1st $1500 takes it...(and it has ALL of it's NOS original bits & pieces!)
