Received a call -- "Hi you bought my old KTM a few years ago -- my neighbor has an old Penton he would like to sell.". I talked to the neighbor. Nice older gentleman. No internet. He has what sounds like a 76 250cc orange tank mx bike. I'm not sure if this would be called an MC5 or MX6 or what. He says it is pretty decent. Engine turns but hasn't been started in long time. Its either a 250 mc5, the world champion moto crosser, or a 250 gs6, which is with head/tail lights etc.
Jon, if this guy approached you, he'll probably give it to you, knowing your someone that would appreciate the bike, and not rake someone else over the coals on a resale...
