Hi im in the UK and connot source a rear subframe/rear mudguard loop for my rebuild on a KTM 250 GS80 1979,can anybody help.
Cheers Ady.
Hi, step 1 go to vinduro site or simply google speedy clasen. step 2 go to his picasa (photo) site and look for stuff for sale. He has heaps of vintage KTM subframes for sale. Not sure if any is a gs80 but speedy will know, or you will. Good luck!

It doesnt have to be exactly the same I could modify it.

Ok found one hanging on the side fence. Is ok except missing a lug for part 81 to screw into. The difficulty is getting it to you from Oz. Will see if the great Gracie will find out the cost if you want it.

Yes please,if you could.
Cheers Ady.
I have several of these NOS rear frame loops in stock with a 3-wire cable run through them for lighting hook up.

I also have one that is for the 420/495, which is most likely 1/2" or so wider than the 125/250 version and would have to be bowed inward or cut at the rear and narrowed down & re-welded to the correct width for the fender to correctly fit with no gaps on the sides. Mine has the exhaust mounting bracket for the large silencer with it, but the 4 mounting holes has the bolts cut off in them and would have to be heated with a torch or drilled out and removed, but they are all there. I checked with the post office this morning about shipping costs, and 3 LB. 4.5 OZ. package would run $27.96 for uninsured First Class Mail, $37.15 for Priority Mail, or $47.00 for Express Mail. If Bill is not able to send his, I would sell mine for $30 plus shipping. Mike
