Title: 1984 125 questions
Post by: Jeff D on September 29, 2010, 08:05:12 PM
There is a 1984 KTM 125 for sale close to me, supposed to be at a garage sale this weekend, asking $700 if I remember right.  What's the scoop on this model year 125?  Any good?  Worth grabbing if it's in good shape?  Parts availability?  Strengths and weaknesses?  Any info appreciated!

Unless I am mistaken, someone on POG posted an article that stated the 1984 KTM was the fastest 125 out there.   I believe it was a water-cooled model.  Maybe ask Rob Warlow.  Joe

Jeff these are great bikes. Only down fall is the water pump area, back in the day the anti-freeze would corrode it. If you have any questions give me a call 217 260 0237  Later Gary

Michael, Yes, that is exactly the article which was photo-printed in the back of my mind, and I remember it being posted by Bob Warlow.  This website is a wealth of knowledge.  Great job locating the post and re-posting it.  Joe
