Here are the three videos I got from Barber.

The motos are the first motos of Classic 125 and Sportsman 100. The CC is vintage, and I have an almost hour long seesaw battle with Dwight, Dave Lamberth and Tim Grow. Kid Christopher shows up for about 10 seconds when he passes me but I never see him again. In the Sportsman 100 race we were on the second gate behind the Sportsman 125s, even though I pull a holeshot you do get to see something besides me riding my myself.
Hope everyone enjoys them.

THAT WAS AWESOME!!!! All of them were fun to watch. You know, I think you are faster on the 100 thru the CC than on the 400. I also think you were cutting faster laps at the End. Keep em comming.

You ought to enter the "Sportman 100" in this years LA Moto Film Fest

It actually is pretty good and the finish is killer.
Now this is put on by the Cretin's and they were written up in Cycle World a few months ago. Its a good people watching thing in downtown LA.
I submitted The Great Epic" a movie we made as kids in 1970 riding around the hills of Fullerton, Brea and Placentia. Don't know if it made the cut yet. Put it to the soundtrack of Radar Love by White Lion and its a winner!

Brian,
At least for the first lap the 100cc Penton's were 1 - 2 - 3. I'm pleased to see that I was not featured in the Classic 125 (starting second gate behind you) or Sportsman 100 with my behind in your sights :D

Excellent and the engine sounds like you are right the mark with the set up.

Baby Brian,
If you want someone to race with show up at Rio Bravo raceway in Texas next month. At the last Marty Tripes Vintage Days we had 26 100cc bikes on the starting gate! Pablo

Brian,
Maybe time for a selector key or adjustment? In the Cross Country it sounds like you are missing about 1 shift per mile of trail. Got to love the Sachs tranny.:D
Larry P
I noticed the missed shifts too. Interesting that he missed zero shifts in VMX - 4 motos. I think Brian, like many of us, slack up some on longer races, get lazy, and jab at the shift lever. As you know, that just doesn't work. Still, gotta love that Sachs package. -EP

Wow, Those videos were great!! Must have felt good to catch the guy with the blue sweatshirt and suspenders in the CC.
I did notice the missed shifts, but do it so often myself, it sounded natural. The biggest thing I noticed was how many people were sitting. When I'm going through woods trails like that I'm standing almost the whole time unless I get tired and have to sit. I could never be that fast sitting all the time.
Thanks for posting the videos Brian.

Nice rides, Brian - thanks for the shows. Puttin a whoopin on the classic 125s with your 100. Come on guys....;)
Man, that CC sure looked dusty. Can see where the barkbusters would have come in handy. Camelback must have tasted good during that race. Lap seemed pretty short - 6 minutes and some change?
And what about Kid Phillips for chrissakes? Ernie - you got him eating Wheaties or does he do some modern racing? He's fast - like at least "B" fast in the modern CC/HS series that I have watched. Congrats Christian (from a fellow new clear power dad)!
Brian,
How about clue us in on the camera & setup you used? Video is good. Audio is excellent. Where are you mounting the camera?
I use a wired lipstick camera and I mount it under the visor of my helmet, the wires run back to my camelback which holds a handheld camcorder. I dont like the "all-in-one" units most people use, because of their size you have to mount them on the side of your helmet and I dont like that angle.
This is the camera I use:

and this is the recorder I use:

Its a little more cumbersome than a Contour HD or a GoPro, but I like the low profile.
