Title: seal beams f0or Preston Petty headlights

does anyone have a source fo 6 volt seal beams for the Prestom Petty Headlight? we tried all the auto suppliers in town and came up dry. we were told they are no longer made

I could use a source for a 12 volt sealed beam too.....any ideas?

Try a garden tractor place, if I remember correctly, that has worked for me.  Take the old lamp to show the counter person!

TSC (tractor supply company) and NAPA auto parts  stores have them.

Back in the old days, we used to run 12 volt headlights so they wouldn't burn out.  You had to have a couple of RPM to make the light bright, but when your lights were checked they were working. The theroy was if you missed a shift, no jokes please, the electrical serge wouldn't burn out the element.

try the vespa scooter shop in san diego.  they alsways have alot of weird 6 volt stuff
for early vespa scooters/mopeds
