Title: 1973 Penton 250
Post by: BobJones on November 20, 2010, 12:11:12 PM
I just listed a 73 250 on e-bay mainly because I can't figure out how to put pictures on this site. Engine was rebuilt by Hodaka Dave. Bike is pretty straight tank has been re fiberglassed around the LH petcock. I will take $2000.00 if it doesn't go thru e-bay. Located about an hour southwest of St.Louis. I am going to be in Atlanta area week after Thanksgiving if that helps.Item # is 150522758052. Would rather see it go to POG member for a complete & proper restoration. Thanks

I sold my really nice mostly original '73 HS a few years ago to an Italian collector via Ebay--no one from POG or anyone else in the US bid on it, just two Italians...go figure.

I wasn't doing any overseas shipping. Buyer of mine arranged purchase of a few bikes through his Italian connection in FL. Mine and others were shipped by their arrangement via Yellow Freight to FL and they filled up a shipping container. Shipper showed up ay my house with a pallet and tie downs, I just rolled it out. This is the way to sell overseas. And accept only a wire to your acct here too, to be safe.

Hi Bob, if you need Roberto's info send me an email to my screen name + [email protected]. You might need a title to validly export unless you call it "used motorcycle parts" -- ha ha. Good luck, John

I got an email from Roberto a month ago and he said he is in Italy and that he'd email me when he gets back to Florida. I haven't heard back from him so he could still be abroad, not to be confused with a broad, I mean overseas.:D
