Title: Merry CHRISTmas
Post by: firstturn on December 13, 2010, 02:00:04 PM
I am heading out tomorrow and just wanted to wish everyone Merry CHRISTmas and please keep the men and women that serve our Great Country in your Thoughts and Prayers.  It gets lonesome being away from your loved ones during the Holidays.  Thanks to everyone on this site for making it the Best Forum.

Thanks Ron!  My daughter just flew out to Ft Knox to be with her husband.  He's in Stryker School. Then they are both flying home for the Holiday's

She took a red eye out last night and left Sunny SoCal where it was 80.  I brought some gloves, long johns and a scarf for her to take.  AS I was dropping her off,  "Are you sure you don't want to take these with you." I asked.  "No Dad,  I'm ok." she replied.  She called me at 09000 hrs.  "Dad! there's snow on the ground and its 15 degrees outside!"  "I've never been so cold in my life!"  I just chuckled inside and remembered, she has a rental car and has never driven in snow or ice before.  So if your around Ft Knox and you see a cute Blonde driving all crazy stay out of her way.

Merry Christmas to all, now that my kids are grown I do not get to see them as often as I would like, even the one that only lives 15 minutes away. For Chritmas this year we have planned a trip to Alaska to see my oldest and her family my youngest will be there too. I am looking forward to a wonderful CHRISTmas season, as we celebrate the greatest miracle of all, God becoming a man.
