The whole trove was found by one of the guys on Vinduro. Here are two Penton photos -- there are probably more but I haven't scoured the album.

Thanks for the link Jeff. I especially like the picture of Promberger, #296 aboard the KTM 500 -- he looks like a giant compared to everyone else back then. Also like the Barry Higgins picture, #320 on the 77 Maico 450...I've got soft spot for Maico GS's (and a few in my garage!)

Just a side note:

In 1977 a friend from Chattanooga came home with a new Macio he bought from Barry Higgins's shop in Georgia. Brand new motocross model with a GS motor. He said Barry told him he swapped motors with his ISDT bike.
