ITS that time again. New season, New Champs, New Tracks. The same great people and good times.
So Cal folks its time to go out to Glen Helen this weekend for the opening race of the ARX season.
I know you saw AnahiemI this morning on The Speed channel, So you know its easy and your saying to yourself "I can do that". AND YOU CAN!
Look at it this way,, we could live someplace that has real weather, so take advatage of it and come on out.
See Ya at the Track!!!!

Garrett,
See you Sunday. I am going to try to sneek a couple bikes out there this time. Weather looks terrible. Scattered clouds, low to mid 60s.
Happy New Year.
Lloyd
Good Deal Lloyd! You also gotta figure that there won't be any dust either. You know, we went all of last year and I can only think of 1 race we actually had some dust.

Hey Lloyd,
Get a grip will you. It is in the 20's here in the east and forecasting 4" of snow tonight and more for the weekend.
And you are concerned about scattered clouds and mid 60's. LOL
If only we had such bad weather. Enjoy it my friend.
Tony
Tony,
I think they are being facitious and mean as I am shoveling snow off the drive and walk, and trying to keep some sort of conditioning by Mall walking and boxing 15-20 rounds at Wii tonight. Riding or racing sure sounds like more fun.:( Have fun guys. Wish I was there.

This is the time to be out riding out west. These guys at ARX make such fun tracks its unbelievable. Just tough enough to make you work, but, vintage friendly. It is perfect riding/racing weather.

Tony,
Just having a little fun with ya. We are very lucky here in SoCal to be able to ride 12 months a year, although the summers do get hot. Hope you guys on the east coast make it through this next set of snow storms.
Lloyd
Garrett, Don't worry about anyone in the Eastern United States. We are all getting in shape and shedding those holiday pounds by shovelling snow. We are receiving lake effect snow here in Northern Ohio. The wind blows across the Great Lakes, picks up moisture, then dumps it as snow. This past snowfall left us with about a foot of very light fluffy snow which is easy to shovel. Other than hitting unseen obstacles hidden by the snow, it is possible to ride your motorcycle through the snow. Just need to put some of those holiday pounds on the back tire for extra traction.... No dust and no mud. Joe
Joe, You guys in Ohio only got a dusting !
Here in South Bend Indiana this past weekend,
We got 8in Friday. 25.3 inch saturday (a new record one day snow)
another 12 inch and today been snowing 4-6 inch. (and still snowing.)
But some of the guys have been going to Cedar lake to the Ice races that Freedette has been putting on every sunday.. (no dust)
My 76 year old dad won the Hack class while my brother bill took 2nd.
Great grandson took 6th and another great grandson took 2nd in the quad class.
So between shoveling snow and making snowmen there is Ice racing
to keep ya busy if ya want ! <G>
