We are still on the way home from the Penton Day at AMA but wanted to post a message while memories are still fresh in our minds. It was a rare occurrence to see Jack, Jeff and Tom Penton along with Dad (John Penton) all together in the same room, sharing stories of days past and fielding questions from the audience. The boys' Mother, Donna Penton, was overheard saying that she heard things from her sons today that she never even knew about. This year's lunch was outstanding, getting away from the typical pizza. The new AMA exhibits were first class all the way. None of this would not have happened if not for the hard work of Paul Danik, Jack Penton and their volunteer staff.
On another note, the downside of the day was seeing all the accidents traveling home on snow covered roads. For the last couple of years we have also felt that this date needs to be moved farther into the year. Maybe this can be readdressed.
Still on the slippery roads,
Bill and Karen

Would have loved to made it, had gas tanks, a bike and several number plates all ready for autographs:(
It was truly a special meeting to get all the Penton brothers there telling stories of the old days. I personally had never had a chance to meet Tom before. Thanks to all who made it happen. I was glad to hear Jeff open up. He always seemed like the quiet one. Now I know he could be the Risk-Taker. Great time! I hope everyone made it home safely.

What a great time at this special event,
this meeting was so much like being part of their family,
the boys and Dad just talked, told stories and joked like we were all out in the shop having a good all tire kickin, story telling, "BS" sesion,
much like Paul Danik talks about when he was a young man growing up around them,
it really set me back !!
a special thanks to all who made this possible,
also the lunch was GREAT - we all know how i like to eat - LOL -
as well, my opinion about the date change is on the other post !!
regards,
Mike Gallagher, NJ.
