I've seen that LE. Seller is former owner of Gresham KTM, was on display on the floor there. It's all that it's described to be...looks new.

When does a Jackpiner LE and Six Day LE "registration page" get set up as an extension to the POG site? The models were released as tribute to the Penton heritage on 30th Anniversary. They're now 13+ years old as the anniversary closes in on 45 years.

Plus seems that most LE's are in the hands of POG fans anyway.

P.S. Happy to pick this bike up for a POG brother and stash in my garage until fetched, if needed.

Yep, it's my "modern" woods bike. Blue plastic under wrap on the shelf. I ride with a guy who rides a strong '03 200exc, and I swear my LE bike has more low-end grunt and tractor power than the newer bike. Works great.

In the last few years most of those put up on eBay have not brought what the owners have wanted.  Perhaps most people looking at a modern bike have trouble seeing the collectible part and just look at it as a modern bike.  In that case $4000 will buy a newer than 14 year old bike.

On the Six Days LE-Does anyone other than Mr. Penton even own one?  Not as rare as the mini-Penton but not far off.  There were sooo very few of those compared to the Jackpiner LE.  The Jackpiner LE would be in the limited edition catogory but the Six Days LE would be in the almost "Works" bike catagory.

Barry Higgins has one in his living room. He said he would take $10k for it. Dealer cost back then was $7k. Guy Cooper and Lyle Lovett have one, forgot who else. I have considered it but fear the wife may not have the same sentiment. If anyone is interested, e-mail me and I'll get Barry's contact info.
