Title: Sprocket holding tool
Post by: Kurt Adams on February 28, 2011, 09:32:00 PM
Could one of you fine fellows tell me what you are using to hold the sprocket while tightening the nut?  I don't have the correct tool, and I certainly don't want to break something as a result.

Any pictures of the tool would help if you have one.

Thanks guys.

Whatever size chain on a metal handle.  Wrap around the CS sprocket and torque nut to 50 ft lbs.  Just like the factory tool but home made!

Ok, thanks!  Wasn't sure if it was a big deal or not.  Guess I'm overly cautious![:o)]
