Title: 1972 125 SIX DAYS
Post by: Larry Perkins on March 31, 2011, 10:58:30 AM
I just listed a 1972 Six Days on Mark's Vintage Swapmeet for anyone interested at a steal price to help pay for some other stuff I am buying.  Look there for all the specifics.  If it does not sell today it will go to eBay tomorrow evening.  It has been sitting unridden since 1974.  Thanks!

Thanks Steve, you were right.  Somebody took me up on the good price and it is going to Florida to a first time Penton owner and soon to be Vintage Cross Country rider and POG member soon.

SOLD

Larry,
Thanks for helping a first time Penton owner.  Be sure to tell him (or her) that we can help on this site with any problems.  Nice bike....I am happy someone else spoke up.  You do not find original bikes like this very often.

Ron,

He got the bike because he has been watching here and the Hodaka place and he felt like we were a great group and that there was good history with the Penton name.  He also felt he could get good steering from this great bunch.  He will be a good asset to our group.  Thanks should go out to the POG for being who WE are.

Maybe one day I can help as many get started in Pentons as you have Brother Ron.  \Thanks for all you have done for others and as always for me.  Heaps of blessings your way!

Larry,

great story and info,

we need more of these and people joining instead looking thru the fence !!

the guy i recently traded one of my 73 Jackpiners to also watches and reads our group info, he is from East St. Louis and hopefully will be a new member real soon, the Jackpiner was his first Penton as well,

congrats on your sale, i am sure it is going to a great person,

regards,
