Title: Jackpiner question
Post by: Randy Lamp on May 18, 2011, 10:30:13 AM

Are both of the engine braces on a Jackpiner, right and left side, shaped like a hocky stick? All the photographs I have seen say they are but I have a few laying around that are straight and have some eyelets welded to them. Not sure where they came from.

Thanks

I have a 72 Jackpiner and both sides are hockey stick shaped.

The '73 with black engine has the hocky stick, but the '74 with silver engine has the straight brace.

Thank you for the reply's. I did find my parts book last night and it shows the hocky stick braces on both sides of the engine. It showed left and right hand braces. Now I have to find a couple of right side braces!

Best Regards, Randy

The straight ones are off a 250/400. I am bringing my 75 400 back from the dead and going to flat track it. So I was just looking at those braces and getting ready to replace them with nice aluminum pieces.

Ted, If you don't mind me asking, where are you located and where will you be flat tracking?
