Title: identifying six day 125

I am starting to restore a 125 that has been
sitting for about 15 years it has steel green tank with a leather bag bolted onto it,and a frame number of V4898.anyone know what year this might be?
bike is complete but no speedo and rear fender is a plastic preston petty with no taillite.where might I find parts?
any help is appreciated

Desmo. Try Al Buehner at 216-651-6559 he,s the man. I have a 125 6day frame no. v-5858 steel tanker its a 71. enjoy the job of restoring.  don howard

More than likely your bike is a 1971. We could tell more if we saw some photos. Check the link for parts, you'll find a couple of places to look.
