Title: MX to Enduro Conversion
Post by: celcius232 on April 16, 2002, 12:54:47 AM
I think POG has a great site and my dues payment is on the way.  I just bought my first Penton --a '72 125 MX with the Sachs motor. How would I go about adding the enduro lighting and are the parts still available?  What were the differences in the two bikes?  Thanks in advance.

Welcome to Pentomania.   The MX and Enduro are the same frame, engine and exhast the only difference was one had lights and speedometer with drive unit and cable and tool bag with holder.  You will need to be patient to find all the items mentioned but they do show up, and costly.  I know Al Buehner has the tool bags and rack.  The Penton Man if he hasn't already sold out has rear fenders with tail light and maybe some of the other things you will need, look in the parts link for phone numbers etc.   Good Luck and again welcome.
