Was wondering if anybody has ever, mounted a 1978 or 79 exhaust pipe to a 1976 mc-5 successfully and if there are any modification that need to be done any help would be great thx again...

Lee you can mount the pipe, but might have to move front bracket. Also you will need a bracket from a GS6 for the rear mount. Later Gary

You will not be able to use the petcock on the LH side as there is not enough clearance between the pipe and you will need to cap it off, unless you use a 1978 MC5 tank that has the LH petcock farther away from the pipe. You can also use a 74 HS tank, which has the petcock also in the same position as the 78 MC5 tank. Mike
