Title: Ceriani Leading-Axle
Post by: Terence McEnally on November 27, 2011, 04:11:36 PM
I bought some Ceriani leading-axle forks from a member about a year ago. Turns out the axle pinches were cracked through. Anyone got a pair of these they'd let go? Just need the lowers (sliders) but I'll buy the whole front end if need be. I guess they're 35mm. Terence (919) 819-4950

The Ceriani leading axle forks are somewhat rare and only used in 76 on Pentons, but you can have them Magnesium welded by a competent welding shop that can weld Magnesium. Gary Ellis has done some for several POG members in the past including me, with good results. Mike

Remember, if you find a set (or a leg) that came off of a Hercules, they are cast opposite of the Penton/KTM models. The threaded boss that the brake anchor bolts to, is on the opposite side.
