Hey pogers orderd some new cables formy MC-5 from Terry Cable clutch and brake,cables Also was ordering some new magura levers and perches,They want to know what size cable adjusters 6.3mm or 8.3mm does anybody know what size any help would be great thx....

it depends on the cables that you are using. smaller diameter ones for skinny, generally earlier style cables. but one thing to remember you can always use the larger ones even with the smaller cables but you can't use the small diameter adjusters with the larger cables. for terry cables i would go with the larger adjusters. they will work regardless. chi jer
Simply look at the thread on your front hub where the adjuster screws in. Later models were the 8mm and early were the 6mm
hey kip. you are absolutely right for the cables. but i think that he is referring to the inside diameter of the adjusters that the cables fit into that screw into the magura perches themselves. chi jer
In that case, 6mmx1.0 as I have never seen 8mmx1.25 at the controls????????
