Will this air box fit my 1974 Jackpiner frame:

This would probably better fit the bigger 175 pipe, Mike.

Air box units are for non-high breather frames.

Why do you say that? I have never had a non-breather 74-76 frame and all of my airboxes have a similar opening on top that mate up to the inlet of the hi-breather backbone that extends over the airbox. Even this 75 250 has one. Mike

All my H-B boxes have a lower lip where it meets the frame and takes a sealing foam insert and no screw holes.  The red 250 e-bay box is for the one year frame 1975 MX NON-Breather and the box has the old style black metal scoop screwed on. I have ground down the lip on the earlier air box to fit on a H-B frame but the three mounting holes don't line up as easy.;)
