Title: Neat photos
Post by: Paul Danik on December 31, 2011, 10:51:50 AM
I stumbled across this group of photos, they include a few shots from the POG 40/10 event at Amherst, the KTM race shop, according to the text, as well as many others.

In the one of the KTM factory -  Racing Department 1976, make note of the unusual roof design. I pulled out a KTM manual from 1978 and on the back cover is a picture of the factory in which you can see that they used that roof design in a large part of the factory, pretty neat...

Very cool, I was very much taken with the racing department pic as well, It looks like the factory was designed to make use of as much of natural lighting as possible. Loved the work stands too.. I use something like that in my shop only I made mine out of wood. works nice but I am thinking about redoing it to add drawers.
