The following link is to an eBay ad for a CEV handlebar switch:

If you read the description, it says that the switch was rebuilt by "the best in the business." I have one of these and am interested in getting it rebuilt. Anyone know who they are referring to as the best in the business?

Interesting, maybe contact the seller and ask who is the restorer.
A few years ago at VMD, it started a light rain in late afternoon, and walking through the vendors sites, I lifted up a cover and found the same switch and pigtail. When I asked the price, I was told $5.00. Needless to say it was purchased.
I later gave it to a dear friend in Kerrville,Texas who restores some of the best Penton's you would ever want.

The seller is also offering a set of shocks restored by POG member best in the business Rod Gorzny, and a Sachs engine built by Doug Wilford, so I would assume that one of the two rebuilt the switch as well. Maybe Rod will chime in, or someone knows if Doug has rebuilt any headlight switches. Mike

Tony they are not hard to rebuild. If you need one gone threw I can do it. All you need is a couple of extras for parts if needed.. I have some parts....Later Gary
I sent an email to the seller. We'll see if he will reveal who's Best in the Business.
