Hey Kevin, do a search on this.  There are a lot of various suggestions (jb weld, marine tek, epoxy, corrosion, etc.). I've used jb web successfully for case repair.  Tom

Paint the bottom of the cases with Red Glyptal after bead blasting.  Available from Caswell by the quart, If applied properly, it will not come off.  I have used it for over 30 years.  Deep corrosion can be filled with JB as suggested once bead blasted then coat with Glyptal.  CIAO

For a smaller amount of Glyptol, this place has 2 fl. oz. available.

Tom,

I assume the product (Glyptol) you are talking about is the "Red Insulating Varnish" at the GC Electronics site.  Is that correct?

Thanks,

Tony
