What's the best piston preference(stock?tarabusa?wiseco?any Japanese cross reference?)to use on my sachs D motored 125s?Racing vintage mx+cross country.And who's got them?Any info/feedback much appreciated.Thanks,
Ric
As long as you have not done any rad porting to the transfers in the barrel OEM is good or NOS Wiseco (forged) in the orange and white box or AL B's Wiseco will work. Stay away from any blue box Wiseco with a PS cast on the under side of the dome.
Larry,
to understand this correctly :
as long as the porting is stock "D" the same piston for a "B" will work ??
please confirm this,
thank you,

Thanks Larry!
Why "stay away from the blue box Wiseco with PS stamped under the dome"??
Mike
Those are the pistons that gave Wiseco the "Seizeco" name. I think the aluminum had too much heat expansion and would cold seize very easily.
