Title: Dungey Out - No Daytona SX
Post by: Ernie Phillips on March 09, 2012, 07:40:11 PM
Ryan Dungey won't be racing in the Daytona Supercross tomorrow night, the Red Bull KTM rider crashing the week leading up to the St. Louis Supercross at his training facility in Florida and suffering a broken collarbone. Despite the break, Dungey finished second in St. Louis, but this week he opted to undergo surgery to have the collarbone plated.

I heard that, and am sad about it but I am wondering if it could be a blessing.  Dungey will be well rested by the time the outdoors series and at least to me, that is were He will shine. He should have won the title last year. A little thing like two mechanicals, one of which was while he was leading and the other would have still made major difference.
