Title: Front Wheel Block
Post by: Mick Milakovic on June 15, 2012, 11:07:55 PM
I remember a device that fit across the bulk head of a pick up truck, which allowed for straight mounting bikes into the bed without putting pressure on the bulk head.  It kept the bulk head from bending out from the pressure.  Anybody remember what I'm talking about, the name of it, or where I can get one?  Or, how well did they work, if you bought one?  Thanks!

Hi Mick,

I installed a CCR Sport Bed Buddy in my truck about 8 years ago, and have not had any issues with it.

I dont remember the brand, but I had one in my Ranger and I loved it. So much easier load two bikes tiedowns when you dont have to run them through the front wheels and stuff. I need to get one for my F150.

Brian,

A day late and a dollar short.  I just sold my F1540 yesterday, equipped with the CCR Bed Buddy.  I would have pulled it off and given it to you.

I used it for 5 years with absolutely no trouble.  It is well made.

Also, their tie downs and ramps are the best.
