Does anybody know if the Clarke mx 2.2 gallon mc-5 tank will fit on my 74 Penton 400?
not very well. chuck cooper has one on his high breather but for some reason his is the only one that i thought looked acceptable.. i actually have tried to contact clark to build some high breather mx tanks but they have never replied back. chi jer
No, it really doesn't the backbone sits too high in the rear. I used one for my 75 Penton 400 and because I was modifying the frame heavily and not using the breather I got it too fit.

that came out nice !!!
"IMHO" i would change the angle of the Penton tank decal to flow with the bike and not the bottom edge of the tank, it would take away the look of the back of the tank sitting up [8D]
