Title: George Peck
Post by: Jeff D on July 25, 2012, 07:17:32 AM
More sad news...received word from Dave Latham that George Peck passed away over the weekend.  Although not technically a Penton rider, George tore up the New England woods and did very well in the 71 or 72 ISDT on a Dalesman...which is Sachs-powered.  George had factory rides for Can-Am, Rokon and Suzuki from 73 to 80 or so, and was the son of New England enduro legend Warren "Bud" Peck, one of the last great Triumph heavyweight riders.

Dang! I just saw George a short while ago. We were mriding in M.A. and he looked great. What a neat guy and could still turn the throttle. I am very sorry to hear this Jeff!
Thanks for letting us know.
