Title: death of a friend
Post by: Kevin Grimes on July 29, 2012, 11:53:46 PM
Leroy Winters' oldest son Mike passed away Sunday after a brave battle with cancer. Mike was an incredibly talented motorcycle rider and a genuine nice guy. It is interesting to note, that just a short time ago that Mike and Al Born were comparing notes for a article on the first Penton outing to the Alligator Enduro and now they are both gone. Always treasure your friends and let them know you care.
Please remember the Winters family in your prayers.

Sorry to hear the news, Kevin.  If you have an address for Bart that you can share, I know several folks who would like to send him their sympathies.  Another one of the good guys gone too soon.
