Title: pitted fork tube repair?

anyone ever had any luck getting pitted chrome fork tubes repaired. ei; machine grinding and rechroming? i've tried once a while back with industrial cylinder repair place but they would not take it on..

Same here so I do Franks or wait until a set pops up on Ebay!

That is very interesting as there are a number of places in Australia that do hard chroming and grinding. I have have had 3 sets done in 20 years by different places.Costs a bit but I reckon its worth it. Having said that it doesn't help you guys. Sorry but I was amazed that you seem not to be able to get it done over there.
