Title: Penton 250 Engine/Parts
Post by: Daniel P. McEntee on August 27, 2012, 10:21:36 PM
Hello Group, just want to call attention to an add I just placed in the classifieds for 250 Penton engine parts or a rebuildable engine. Trying to build up a late '74 ( I think) 250 Penton from a project bike I brought back from my late brother's estate in Atlanta. Might need a enduro type pipe also, as the one that came with it is missing some stuff and will need alot of work. Any and all help or leads of parts or an engine for sale will be appreciated.
  Thanks a lot in advance,

Dan, if you end up with a 250 project motor and need some good economy parts for rebuild, shoot me a note. Have a couple of ready-to-go cylinders honed to .003" or so with good used Mahle pistons, just need rings, some servicable case halves, tranny gears, clutch parts, head or two, used rods, a clutch actuator, etc.

Good luck, enjoy.

Hi Jon;
   Thanks for the reply. I'm logging your contact info for when I get into this thing, hopefully in the near future, and I get an idea exactly what I need.
  Thanks a lot,
