Wow. Pelican Guano certainly wants top dollar for most of their machinery.  Good for them, but I guess the "market" will let them know if the price is right.

These guys and their restoration efforts (and energy) are just invaluable on some level. I surf this "bike porn" site every few months and just sit back and smile at the breadth of their hardware.

Funny aside - last week I was in the LA area for about 48 hours dealing with some family stuff, but in the back of my mind I kept  thinking about "if I could only visit Pelican Guano or Tom White's museum...".  Time just didn't allow it on this foray, but I know both have been very generous w/r to their "tours by appt" policy.  Maybe next year.

I'll be out to Socal to visit the kids here soon, like to check out various bike shops when I am there, kind of neat what you can still find.  Still a lot of stuff out there, just have to travel and dig!![:0]

Those are some nice bikes. Prices are way down currently, though. I hope Bill can get as much as he can for them. I have a friend in Washington State who is about to unload around 70 bikes at very reasonable prices sometime soon. He has two nice 125 Penton Six Days, seven Bultacos (six Pursangs of various years and a nice Alpina), four gorgeous Maicos ('69, '71, '73 and '74), 30 CZs (250 & 360 twinpipers, sidepipers, Faltas, yellow tankers,a new CZ 250 enduro, 125s, 250s, 400s, etc., a new 1974 Greeves 250, a BSA B-50, a super rare 1978 Kawasaki KX 250 A-4, and many more. E-mail me if you see something you are interested in and he will put your name on it until the day he is ready to sell.

My wife would be thrilled if old Bill got ANY of those prices listed. Would mean our youngest could go to college. I think they smoke a lot of weed over there in Klamath Falls though.
